Es completamente inerte y no interactúa fácilmente con ninguna sustancia, por esta razón se usa comúnmente para el envasado de alimentos y productos químicos. Es un material flexible y duradero, con una alta resistencia a los impactos y al desgaste. Utilizando Magigoo PP, la pieza debe ser relativamente fácil de quitar una vez se enfríe así como el pegamento residual, si se sigue el procedimiento marcado. Por largos periodos de tiempo sin imprimir, es recomendable mantener las bobinas de PET-G en una caja o en un contenedor hermético con desecante para mantenerla secas.
