Why BCN3D Cloud 2.0?

BCN3D Cloud 2.0 is the new cloud platform BCN3D is introducing in 2025. It is the perfect tool to make the most out of your BCN3D printers, giving you full remote control, AI-Error Detection, production planning tools, and much more. 

With BCN3D Cloud 2.0, along with the slicer BCN3D Stratos, BCN3D printers will have the perfect software companions to unlock their full potential. 

 

What features are available in BCN3D Cloud 2.0?

  • Connectivity of all modern BCN3D Printers: OmegaI60, EpsilonW50, EpsilonW27, SigmaD25.  
  • Notifications:  Stay informed with custom web notifications about print status and potential issues. Configure which events you want to be notified for.
  • Multiple Users: Up to 5 different users.
  • Timeline/Production Queue:  Oversee print queues effectively using a clear and organized timeline format.
  • Projects:  Structure tasks into custom projects for improved planning and tracking.
  • Maintenance:  Enhance printer lifespan with custom web notifications and timers for proactive upkeep.
  • Operational Dashboard: Efficiently manage your printers with an intuitive and all-inclusive dashboard, with focus on individual printers or the overall production
  • (Omega I60) Camera Live Streaming*: Observe live printer streams to stay connected with your printing progress. *Available soon. 

Also, but not included in the free version:

  • Multiple Users: Up to 25 different Users or unlimited.
  • Roles and Hierarchies:  Tailor user roles and permissions for efficient hierarchical management.
  • Task Review:  Conduct pre-print proofreading, ensuring accuracy and proper content.

What current BCN3D Cloud features are not available in BCN Cloud 2.0?

There a few features that will not be continuated in BCN3D Cloud 2.0. These are:

  • Printer Clusters and Custom Queues: From now on, you can use the Projects tool to schedule multiple copies and group your printers, instead
  • Printer sharing: From now on, it is not possible to share only one printer to another BCN3D Cloud user. You either share all the printers, or none. 
  • BCN3D Teams: From now on, the main features of Teams (multiple users and teams, printer's organisation in groups, access to Team Statistics) are not available in BCN3D Cloud 2.0 by default. Contact team@bcn3d.com to activate them. 

 

From BCN3D Cloud to BCN3D Cloud 2.0

Will the transition be easy for the users?  The answer is... of course! The transition will be smooth, and the printers will transition to the new cloud when each user decides to do so. It will be one click

Early Access to BCN3D Cloud 2.0 will be open for the users who request it, to check all the new exciting features it is providing. 

During mid 2025, all users must have performed the transition to the new BCN3D Cloud 2.0. The exact date will be announced in BCN3D Cloud with adequate notice.
