How to print with BCN3D PLA
The easiest filament to print, ideal for prototyping. PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a biodegradable, sustainable, and food-safe polymer made from organic sources. In this article, you will find the basic information to print with BCN3D PLA
What is the PLA?
BCN3D PLA filament has been developed to guarantee a perfect performance when used with full metal hotends.
You can purchase PLA in 12 different colors and 2 spool sizes (750gr or 2300gr) from our store.

Build plate adhesion
|
Apply a fine and even layer of Magigoo glue to achieve a good adhesion between the 3D printed part and the printing surface of your 3D printer in order to keep the part fixed. It is best to apply Magigoo when the printing bed is cool. Is recommended to use Brim or Skirt as build plate adhesion to ensure that the first layer is correctly printed and attached to the printing surface. |

Recommendations
Plastics absorb moisture from the air. When not printing for extended periods of time, it is recommended to keep the PLA spools in a box or airtight container with desiccant to keep them dry.
PLA emits low levels of gas and particles when printing. We recommend printing it in a well-ventilated area to ensure a healthy environment.
Remember to clean the hotend if you have changed the material to PLA to avoid clogs in the hotend. Due to the low printing temperature
