BCN3D Sample Parts
Through the BCN3D website, you can acquire the sample models made with our materials to showcase their properties and print quality. This article will describe the properties of each of the available models.
On the BCN3D website, you can find the option to ask for a sample part, these parts are specifically designed to test the properties of some materials and the print quality of the BCN3D printers.
Also, the sample parts could be used to test the printer using STLs files that are included in this article. We recommend using the recommended profiles in BCN3D Stratos to test the printer
1. Testing the dimensional accuracy
Bolt and NutThis model is made of two parts printed in BCN3D PLA, the objective is to showcase the dimensional accuracy and the tolerances that can be accomplished with our printers. |
- If you want to print this model, you can find the STL files here:
2. Checking the resistance and performance
PropellerThis Sample part is printed with BCN3D PAHT CF15 and its objective is to showcase that the material is resistant to various hazards like humidity, friction, and high-speed rotation. |
|
GearThis Sample part is built by two models and is printed with BCN3D PA with the objective of being able to withstand friction with another part, in this case of the same material. Additionally, this model also showcases dimensional accuracy. |
- If you want to try these properties with other materials, you can get the STL here:
3. Testing print parameters and physical properties
BumperThis Sample part is printed with BCN3D TPU with the objective to showcase its physical properties like its flexibility. The different compartments show how the material behaves with different infill patterns, thickness, and amount of shell layers. |
- If you want to test all these different properties with your material, here you can find the STL for all the model parts.
